LEARNING OUTCOMES

In addition to career-relevant coursework, this program includes clinical experiences that take place in a variety of settings across the continuum of care, with expert clinicians serving as preceptors. Upon program completion, you will possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes for competent and ethical professional practice while incorporating the RISES values learned at Neumann.

You will be able to synthesize knowledge from humanities, sciences, and nursing to design cost-effective, evidence-based plans of care that are patient-centered and encompass diverse patients from multicultural backgrounds. You will also be eligible to apply for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner national certification examination and for state licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
