LEARNING OUTCOMES

In addition to career-relevant coursework, this program includes clinical experiences that take place in a variety of settings across the continuum of care, with expert clinicians serving as preceptors. Upon program completion, you will be able to synthesize knowledge from humanities, sciences, and nursing to design cost-effective, evidence-based plans of care that are patient-centered and encompass diverse patients from multicultural backgrounds.

You will demonstrate mastery in interprofessional collaboration as well as scholarly inquiry. You will also be eligible to apply for the Family Nurse Practitioner national certification examination and for state licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
